Momentum is building at Falcon Field Airport! The structural framework for Hangar G is well underway, with the PEMB (Pre-Engineered Metal Building) taking shape as the backbone of the facility. Along Greenfield, crews are actively installing both wet and dry utilities to support the site’s infrastructure.

Next up, the building will begin to showcase its exterior with decorative metal panel cladding, adding the finishing architectural touches to the structure.

This year`s WIC Week, women from across GCON—finance, procurement, quality, commissioning, accounting, safety, precon, public works, healthcare, mission critical—came together to share similar experiences, success stories and advice for navigating a career in this field.

At GCON, we believe Women in Construction Week is about amplifying the contributions that women have made, and continue making, to this line of work. More importantly, it is about the collective commitment of the construction industry to make room for women in the field, in the office and at the table.

GCON was proud to share our space with Girls Can Build and support the organization`s mentorship initiative, BuildHER. This type of early exposure to construction and accessibility to mentors and career paths in this industry is crucial to the future of building!

GCON is well underway on the latest phase of the Mesa Hangar II LLC hangar project at Falcon Field Airport! This new phase adds an additional five hangar bays and Class A office space totaling 80Ksf. Expected to be completed late summer 2026, this expansion directly supports the major growth of business and corporate aviation development across the City of Mesa airfield.

Proud moments like this remind us why we build! The West-MEC Career Academy at Agua Fria High School is a project that reflects the dedication and skill of our Public Works team. Delivering this 31,000 SF campus in just six months is no small feat. Their collaboration with our trade, design and education partners truly brought this vision to life.
